What to expect
The Allschwil Klausenlauf has developed into one of the most popular running events in Northwestern Switzerland since its foundation in 1980. Every year, around 1,700 running enthusiasts take part in the traditional Allschwil Klausenlauf, including approximately 800 children and young people. The diverse programme offers something for everyone: a family run, children’s and youth races over 0.85 km and 1.7 km, a beginners’ run and Nordic walking over 6.6 km, as well as the main race over 10 km. At the finish line, “Samichlaus” presents every participant with gifts in kind, while the children also receive a medal and a traditional “Grättimaa”.
